Named Allergy Governor training

Multiple dates and times Online, Microsoft Teams

Named Allergy Governor training is designed to equip governors with the knowledge and resources to ensure their setting is compliant with the government's statutory guidance on allergy safety, which will be effective from September 2026.

Part 1: E-learning. Get an excellent understanding of allergy as a medical condition, how to recognise and treat reactions, how allergy impacts school life and why whole-school responsibility is key to reducing risk and making your school safer. This must be completed before part 2.

Part 2: 90 min Live Masterclass delivered over Microsoft Teams. An interactive workshop for small groups of Named Allergy Governors, hosted by The Allergy Team. We'll discuss what good oversight of allergy safety looks like, your role in supporting the school to reduce risk and the steps you need to take to comply with new government guidance on allergy safety.

On completion you will receive a certificate demonstrating that you have completed Named Allergy Governor training.
